About Reliever

Originally developed for NASA in the late 1960's and now more technically advanced, Reliever visco elastic memory foam is a material that keeps you naturally supported whilst providing pressure relief and comfort whilst you sleep. It reduces the nighttime tossing and turning caused by pressure point discomfort associated with innerspring and latex designs.

Memory foam is unique. When compressed, the open cell foam spreads the air to adjoining foam cells rather than fighting to return to its original shape, thus spreading the weight load. Memory foam is also temperature sensitive, so at lower temperatures it is firmer (ie: viscous), and at higher temperatures it is softer (ie: elastic), which is why it is known as visco-elastic foam. This temperature sensitivity means a pillow or mattress moulds to your shape.

A wide range of different memory foam densities are available in the Australian market today. Low density foams do not give the same comfort and support benefits as higher density foam products. Reliever's foam is 85kgm3 - 5.5lb, making it the densest foam in the Australian market.

Sleep well, live better.
